Designed with trust, privacy and responsibility in mind
Mary holds some of the most personal moments in a family’s life. We take that seriously, being honest about what Mary does, how it handles information, and where its limits are.
Privacy-first
Mary Care only aims to collect the information needed to provide care support features, nothing gratuitous.
Family-controlled
Care settings are managed by approved and trusted family members.
Transparent limitations
Mary Care supports families and carers but does not replace emergency services, clinical care or professional safeguarding.
Long-term continuity
Built as a long-term platform, with clear product communication and ongoing updates.
Secure access
Family access, account permissions and connected services are designed around safety and control.
Data portability
Families can request access to their data or account deletion in line with privacy requirements.
Held to recognised UK standards
We treat privacy and online safety as a responsibility, not a checkbox, and we’re clear about which standards we currently hold.
Further certification marks will be added here as they are confirmed.
Mary Care is support, not a substitute
Mary Care helps families and carers stay connected and organised. It does not replace 999, emergency services, clinical care, professional care services or safeguarding procedures. The HELP feature contacts trusted people you choose, it is not an emergency response service. In an emergency, always contact the appropriate emergency services.
Clear control over information
Access your data
Families can request access to the information held in their account, in line with UK privacy requirements.
Account & data deletion
You can request deletion of an account and associated data. We aim to make this clear and straightforward.
Consent-based features
Sensitive features such as location awareness are designed around consent and trusted family control.
Continuity commitment
We are building Mary Care for the long term, with clear product communication as it evolves.
For data requests, see our privacy policy, request data deletion, or contact support@marycare.co.uk.
